Active Travel: Quality tourist service in Moscow, Russia
Active Travel was initially started as a baby-company of Ost-West Kontaktservice in order to represent the company in Moscow. Its chief objective was to provide the same quality of tourist service as Ost-West throughout Russia, only locally, in Russia's capital city. This expansion was mainly caused by the many changes in the Russian visa system that required an additional body in Moscow, where the incoming tourist traffic is considerably heavier, to deal with any visa support issues: registrations, invitations, business and working visas and so on. In fact, Active Travel was performing exactly same duties in Moscow as Ost-West was performing throughout Russia.
However, within time, Active Travel has found its own niche in the tourist business: organizing individual and group tours in the country as opposed to the city tours organized by Ost-West. These tours became known as "active tours" and are bookable through Ost-West Kontaktservice or Active Travel in Moscow.

How to find us: Take a 7 min. walk along Nevsky Prospekt from either metro station “Ploschad Vosstaniya” or “Moskovsky Vokzal” to the number 105 (aka 105 Staro-Nevsky). Enter the court-yard through the arch and at the right side of the yard you will find our door.

How to find us.
Get off at metro station “Lyubyanka” (left hand side) and follow ulitsa Myasnitskaya to house number 22, which is not far from the metro station (5 min. walk). You pass restaurant My-My, than a clothes shop and you’ll see a bank with a big red advertisement on the opposite side of the street to our entrance, which is before pharmacy 36.6. Our entrance has a dark green colored door. On the door is written 22/2/5 building 1. We are on the 2nd floor, just follow the stairs until you find a sign OSTWEST, office 216. Push the ring button left had side of the door next to our sign.
